Tonight, I was going to take Nico ice skating. It was going to be a surprise. As we're probably the only people in Southern California who own our own ice skates, it was not an easy surprise. But after a mere two Mai Tais, I was able to convince Nicole to walk six blocks to the Huntington Beach Pier, carrying ice skates, to take my picture wearing said skates. Unfortunately, it was an unseasonbly 72 degrees in paradise today, so the rink was closed. Oh well, it's the thought that counts. Did I mention we walked six blocks carrying ice skates?

After years of trying, I'm finally listed on yahoo! Anybody who might be looking for Dr. Michael B. Lasko is advised to shoot an email here. That's Michael Lasko, formerly of the Monrovia Laskos, currently of the Newport Beach Laskos. No relation to the Lasko Fan Company, or the Lox company, which I think is spelled Lascco, or something like that.

I am now searchable on Google! Or rather this page is searchable on Google. Takealotofdrugs.com is not. Go figure. Will this bring more people here than the link from Tricia's blog? Millions of visitors, please sign the tag-board and contribute to the boat fund.

God save California. In his infinite wisdom, Gray Davis decided to sign a bill eliminating the old California Boards (with an overall pass rate of 50%), with the much, much easier Naplex (North American Pharmacy Licensure Examination). How much easier? Well, I've been working on getting licensed in Hawaii for the last half year, and finally got around to taking the exam. Now I'm not the smartest guy in the world, and it's been a while since I last opened a textbook, but I still managed a whopping 130 (passing=75). God save California.

So I was thinking I'd start an OC watch, to compete with ocweekly. The OC is, after all, the greatest piece of television ever made. Episode 9 line of the week was all Summer: "Sailing? That's like, so not the fastest way to get anywhere."
